Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our website or placing an order. By accessing our store or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms in full.
1. About Us
PurrWell is operated by Bendegúz Lévai, a sole proprietor registered in Hungary. We sell premium stainless steel cat water fountains, accessories, and related subscription products to customers across the European Union and internationally. References to "PurrWell," "we," "us," or "our" throughout these terms refer to Bendegúz Lévai trading as PurrWell.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our store. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the version that applies to that transaction.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order on our store. By completing a purchase you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you have provided is accurate, complete, and current.
4. Products
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible, including descriptions, images, and specifications. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions are entirely error-free. Product images are for illustrative purposes and minor variations in appearance may occur. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue products, or modify product specifications at any time without prior notice.
Our products are designed for use with domestic cats. They are not veterinary medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any illness or health condition. If your cat has a medical condition, please consult a licensed veterinarian before making changes to their diet, hydration, or care routine.
5. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Shipping costs are calculated separately and shown before you complete your order.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If an error is discovered after you have placed an order, we will contact you and give you the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund. We are under no obligation to fulfill an order placed at an incorrectly displayed price.
Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments and other payment providers available at checkout. We do not store your payment card details. By submitting your payment information you confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or incomplete information. In such cases you will be notified promptly and any payment taken will be refunded in full.
Once an order has been placed, it may not be possible to modify it as orders are processed quickly. Contact us immediately at support@trypurrwell.com if you need to make a change and we will do our best to accommodate your request before dispatch.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are typically processed within 2 business days. Estimated delivery times are 2–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location and the carrier. These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or circumstances beyond our control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrectly entered address.

8. Returns and Refunds
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may request a return within 60 days of delivery by contacting support@trypurrwell.com. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned item.

EU customers also have statutory rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, including a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery for most products. These statutory rights are not affected by our 60-day guarantee, which is offered in addition to them.
9. Subscriptions
We offer a filter subscription service that renews automatically every 30 days from the date of your original purchase. By enrolling in a subscription you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time with no penalties. Cancellations must be made before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next cycle. For full details see our Purchase Options Cancellation Policy.
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 7 days' advance notice. You may cancel before any price change takes effect.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including but not limited to text, product descriptions, images, logos, graphics, and branding — is the property of Bendegúz Lévai trading as PurrWell and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use is permitted provided attribution is maintained.
11. User Conduct
By using our store you agree not to engage in any of the following: submitting false or fraudulent orders, impersonating any person or entity, attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems, posting defamatory or misleading reviews, using our website for any unlawful purpose, or interfering with the proper operation of our store.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or close accounts at our discretion if we determine that these terms have been violated.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our products are provided as described. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these terms. We do not warrant that our website will be available at all times, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for any damage to your device resulting from use of our website.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PurrWell's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your purchase or use of our products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profit, or veterinary costs, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Hungarian or EU law.
14. Third Party Services
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Our subscription service is powered by Seal Subscriptions. Payment processing is handled by third party payment providers. These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third party services.
Links to third party websites on our store are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or accept responsibility for the content of external websites.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By using our store you acknowledge that you have read our Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your data as described therein.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Hungary and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union including the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the Rome I Regulation.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our store shall first be addressed by contacting us directly at support@trypurrwell.com. We will make every effort to resolve disputes amicably within a reasonable timeframe.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it may be referred to the competent courts of Hungary. EU consumers also have access to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Subscription Cancellation Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PurrWell with respect to your use of our store and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
